This year Alison M. Latimer, KC was honoured to co-chair CLE BC's Administrative Law Conference with Elena F. Miller of the BC Labour Relations Board.
This year's conference included an opening address by the Honourable Justice Mahmud Jamal addressing the topic of Litigating and Deciding Administrative Law Cases at the Supreme Court of Canada. The conference offers a year's worth of administrative law developments in a day. Everything from recent decisions, legislative updates, and current trends in this complex practice area. Also on offer were in depth discussions about Section 96 of the Constitution Act and Administrative Tribunals, Internal Standards of Review, and Charter values in Administrative Law.
